Dance Competition
On 14th Feb 2010 at 5:30 pm at St Francis Xavier Primary School Hall
Category : 1. 10 to 16 years (Born between 31-12-1993 and 30-12-1999)
2. Above 16 Years (Born before 30-12-1993)
Rules (General Rules of Kalya parmol apply to this competition too)

This competition will be held in ‘solo’, ‘duet’ and ‘group’. Person who takes part in solo is not allowed to participate in duet and vice versa but allowed to participate in group category.

For duet pairs can be ‘boy-girl’, boy-boy’ or girl-girl.

Time limit for solo and duet is 3 minutes and for group is 4 minutes.

Only Konkani songs are allowed to play during the dance. If CD/Audio cassettes are used it’s the responsibility of the participant or his/her assiastant to hand it over to the sound operator and get it played during the dance.

Dancers need to use costumes/makeup and probes according to the dance sequence.

Fire, water and animals are not allowed on the stage for performance.

One minute time is allotted for arranging and rearranging the stage, excess time taken for this purpose will be considered as performance time.

Lip movement and action, Expression, Rhythmic steps, Synchronized action are considered as Criteria for Judgment.
